At WSS Westminster Speed and Sound, our window tint installations are done 100% in-house to provide the highest levels of quality and client satisfaction. We use industry standard software to cut our film ahead of time with a plotter. This ensures that you get a perfect fit, every time, and we never use your window as our “cutting board.”

While many competitors have resorted to using inferior tint made in China, you will never find that low-grade film in our store. We are the only company in the area that invests in these top grades of window films. You get the benefit of a cooler, better protected, and better looking vehicle.

• • Crystalline – If you are looking for the best, you just found it. Crystalline film by 3M is a technological marvel that is light years ahead of every other window film. While most tint is two layers, Crystalline packs over 200 layers into a film that is thinner than a Post-It note. Imagine seeing a 97% reduction in the sun’s infra-red heat coupled with up to a 55% reduction in glare. We offer multiple darkness levels, including a clear film that gets you all the performance and safety benefits without darkening the windows. Crystalline film is so effective in its UV protection that it is recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.
  • Ceramic IR – This is the newest film from 3M. You will see a significant step up in heat rejection while still retaining greater optical clarity. If you want great performance but also want a darker shade, this film is for you.
  • Dark Matter – We are Maryland’s exclusive dealer for Dark Matter from Geoshield and it is a significant step up from Obsidian. Nano-ceramic technology provides uncompromising looks and high optical clarity. It blocks over 50% more heat than Obsidian. When looks and performance BOTH matter, this is a great option.
  • Obsidian – This tint is for the person looking to move into a 3M film, the finest on the market. It offers great cosmetic benefits that will make your car, truck, or SUV look impressive every time you look at it.

Please check your state’s window tint laws before choosing your tint. One thing to keep in mind is that all vehicles come with a very slight tint in the glass from the factory, which varies in darkness. Our professional staff can help guide you in the right direction, and can show you samples of the different darkness levels available in each grade of tint. We stand behind every job we do with a lifetime warranty, covering any manufacturing defects (such as imperfections in the film or fading/discoloration) as well as any issues like peeling or cracking in the film.
